The Super Besse ski resort

The Super-Besse ski resort, created in 1961, is located at an altitude of 1,350 metres on the southern slope of the Puy de Sancy in the Massif Central, close to the village of Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise. It enjoys a remarkable natural setting and is linked to the neighbouring resort of Le Mont-Dore, offering a larger and more varied skiing area. In addition to skiing, Super-Besse offers additional facilities such as a swimming pool and an ice rink, ideal for enhancing your stay.

The resort has 27 slopes (5 green, 9 blue, 9 red and 4 black), served by 21 ski lifts, including a cable car, 5 chairlifts, 13 ski lifts and 2 magic carpets. Around 70% of the ski area is equipped with snow cannons, guaranteeing good skiing conditions throughout the season. A night skiing area also allows you to enjoy skiing in the evening, with several floodlit slopes.

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find what they are looking for thanks to special areas at the bottom of the resort, with gentle, accessible terrain. Super-Besse also offers fun and sporting activities such as a snowpark, a boardercross, a speed track, a slalom stadium, a sledging area and even a 1,600-metre-long zip line for thrill-seekers.

In order to limit the impact of infrastructure on the natural environment,

an environmental monitoring committee has been set up. This committee is responsible for supervising earthworks and the installation of ski lifts,

to ensure that sites are restored in accordance with the original ecosystems. The objective is clear: to preserve local biodiversity and maintain the balance of the landscape.

The Apartment at the foot of the slopes offers lake views and accommodation with a terrace, approximately 6 km from Lake Pavin. It features a barbecue and free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy views of the mountains.

This apartment has 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, a washing machine and a bathroom. Its fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave and a dishwasher. Bed linen and towels can be provided at an additional cost. A hot tub is available, as well as ski hire, access to the slopes on foot and a ski pass sales point.

Located at the entrance to the Super Besse ski resort, Résidence Le Bois de la Reine offers self-catering accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby.

The apartments and studios are within walking distance and feature heating, a seating area and a TV. The bathrooms are equipped with a bath or shower.

All apartments have a balcony or terrace. Bed linen is included. The accommodation includes a kitchen or kitchenette equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and electric hob.

The O – Sancy Tourist Residence offers the opportunity to stay in the heart of the Super-Besse ski resort, opposite Lake Hermines and only 1.5 km from the ski slopes.

You will enjoy free access to the indoor swimming pool and sauna. All apartments have a private balcony or terrace. They include a living room with an LCD TV and a fully equipped kitchenette.

A continental breakfast is available upon reservation the day before. There is a ski storage room and guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi. Covered parking is available at an additional cost.
