The ski resort of Le Sauze, composed of seven hamlets, is quite the sporty place. All the pleasures of skiing are concentrated here. The exposures’ variety and the diversity of the tracks are like invitations to ski without any restraint.
The ski area of Le Sauze
Located at 1400m, Le Sauze offers 65 km of slopes equipped with 23 lifts, but also a snowpark located in the heart of the upper part of the ski area, at 2100m, which covers an area of 6.5 hectares, an average length of 450 metres and a difference in altitude of 150 metres!
The snowpark consists of 3 runs: a skicross / boardercross run, a run equipped with freestyle modules, big airs of different amplitudes and workshops with bars and rails to suit all levels and types of practice, and a run made up of a remodelled canyon, a real natural half pipe 300 metres long that can be used at different starting levels, corresponding to increasing difficulty. For technical ski lovers, Sauze has a permanent training and competition stadium, the Brec piste, FIS approved, dedicated to technical events, i.e. slalom and giant slalom. With a 250 m difference in height and a length of 1000 m, the stadium is covered with artificial snow, which gives it an ideal quality of hardness. A godsend for all clubs, as the piste is dedicated to them all season long.
Many other activities are possible in Sauze such as snowshoeing, to discover the secret life of the winter world. If you would rather discover the area in a dog sled or going on an adventure on a moonbike after the slopes have closed, it’s also possible ! The après-ski is not to be forgotten, with an indoor swimming pool, several wellness areas and a cinema !

Slightly bigger than a sledge, get on board a groomer and take off for a moment of discovery and new sensations after the slopes have closed.

For adults, from 12 years old as well as for children from 7 years old, we welcome you on our playground in the forest, arranged with bunkers and hideouts on more than 4 500m².
You will be accompanied by a professional, competitor and paintball enthusiast, who will explain the rules and the different possible scenarios, while giving you tactical advice.
