In ski areas, the environmental impact depends on the presence and operation of the equipment, without any impact from the number of visitors.
The energy consumption of ski lifts, attractions and grooming operations is constant, regardless of the number of visitors. It varies according to weather conditions and snow cover, which is also an important factor in water consumption.
That is why
the Morgins ski resort is committed to the environment and to reducing and minimising the energy it uses on a daily basis,
as well as trying to produce its own renewable energy through innovative and environmentally friendly methods.
