The Isola 2000 ski resort is committed to sustainable development
Isola 2000’s power supply is secured thanks to flexibilities.
Enedis is committed to ensuring greater security of electricity supply, particularly in the high mountains, and is doing everything possible to provide a 21st century public service through local and innovative projects that promote the ecological transition. To resolve power cuts as quickly and cost-effectively as possible in the event of incidents on the network, Enedis is proposing to promote local energy flexibilities.
LOCAL FLEXIBILITIES ARE AT THE HEART OF ACCELERATING THE ENERGY TRANSITION.
Flexibility on the distribution network consists of modulating in real time the quantities of electricity drawn from or injected into the power lines, thus avoiding peaks in activity to guarantee the quality and continuity of the power supply at all times. For Enedis, the use of flexibilities on a local scale is an opportunity to :
- facilitate the connection of renewable energy
- ensure continuity of supply in the event of works
- accelerate the re-supply in the event of network incidents or climatic hazards
- postpone costly investments for the community by temporarily reducing power calls on the network
