The Cerro Bayo ski resort is located 9 km northeast of the city of Villa La Angostura (Argentina), in an area dominated by glacial lakes and the natural vegetation of the Patagonian forest.

The station was inaugurated in 1978 in a beautiful natural landscape. Surrounded by forests and with impressive views of Lake Nahuel Huapi, it is very close to the mountain village and offers about 200 hectares for the practice of alpine skiing and enjoy an unforgettable stay.

The Cerro Bayo ski resort, with an altitude of 1,730 meters, is a suitable environment for beginners and advanced skiers, who have 14 km of marked trails, including 7 km of blue trails, 4 km of red trails and 3 km of black trails. It also has 17 lifts (2 gondolas, 8 chairlifts, 1 T-bar, 1 chairlift, 1 cable car and 4 conveyor belts). Impressive Freeride descents, 680 meters of vertical drop, black runs, deep snow in the Cañadón and unparalleled off-piste runs through virgin forests from the summit to the base await you there.

Cerro Bayo ski resort offers a multitude of activities on snow. It has a special circuit for beginners, slopes for intermediate and off-piste for experts and has adapted skiing. There are also two different areas for freestyle skiing and snowboarding. In summer, the Cerro Bayo resort turns into a mountain club.
