USA | Región: Colorado
Loveland has been Denver’s local mountain since 1937, making Loveland the second oldest ski area in Colorado. Throughout the years, Loveland Ski Area has focused on providing an exceptional Colorado ski & snowboard experience at an affordable price. Loveland Ski Area is typically one of the first ski areas in the nation to open and offers a season that runs from mid-October through early-May. The Race To Open starts in late-September when snowmaking operations begin and culminate with Opening Day.

Loveland Ski Area

Loveland Ski Area offers an authentic Rocky Mountain skiing experience with expansive terrain and exceptional snowfall. Loveland in summer

While Loveland is best known for its deep snow and winter thrills, summer reveals a quieter, equally stunning side of the region. The slopes give way to wildflower-filled meadows and alpine views, making it a favorite spot for hikers, photographers, and road trippers. A scenic drive along nearby Loveland Pass offers sweeping vistas of the Rockies and plenty of opportunities to explore trails above the treeline. Though the ski area itself doesn’t operate lifts in summer, the surrounding natural beauty and proximity to the charming town of Georgetown make it a perfect destination for peaceful high-altitude escapes and outdoor adventures.
