The accommodation in Albiez-Montrond is placed in two areas far from each other: Chef-lieu (also called le Plan) and the Mollard. Most of the accommodation offered in Chief-Lieu and Le Mollard (fully furnished, plus residences, cabins and hostels) are close to the slopes. As well as shops and stores (snow equipment, restaurants, fast food and supermarkets) complement the rest of the activities.
Alpine ski area
With the beauty of the landscape and the 67 hectares of slopes, you will be seduced by the Albiez ski area. Its ski slopes are located around the two main villages: Chef-lieu and Mollard. They range from 1500 to 2100 meters above sea level and are suitable for both beginners (mountain routes) and experienced skiers (cross-country and walks).
To facilitate ski learning, 2 ski lifts are offered specially adapted for beginners (both adults and children): the Tapis du Replat and the Coucou ski lift (included within the special forfait “mini domain”). For the less experienced skiers, 2 new routes in the lower part of the village (Grand Loup and Vernette) have recently been opened to the public.
Experienced skiers are likely to concentrate on the slopes connected by the Teppes chairlift or the Crêt de l’Âne ski lift: the black slopes of the Dome, Pierre Aigé, the red slopes of Pras Radet, and Plan Corbé are the scene of terrific descents.
Snowparks and Albiez play areas
The new Fun zone has multi-level modules in the ski area. The opening of this area depends on both weather and snow conditions. When snow conditions are fine, this fun park is located near the blue track of Impéne, accessible from the Grand Loup chairlift.
