Next to Andorra la Vella, we find the alpine ski resort of Vallnord Pal Arinsal embedded in the Principality of Andorra. Specifically, it is found in the parishes of La Massana.

Focused on sustainable development

The Andorran resort wants to become fully sustainable. The environment is one of its most important focal points. Such a direction, takes into account the locals, the reduction of plastic materials, the maintenance of the resort, amongst others.

In fact, it is a resort that every year, be it winter or summer, carries out a garbage collection from the Pal mountains in which all the Vallnord – Pal Arinsal staff participate with the idea of promoting the concept of maintenance and offering customers a neat and clean environment to be in.

Safety is also increasing, and it has been a trend for years. One of the main goals is to improve signage in the resort, so that everyone can correctly find their way around and enhance safety at the same time.

Moreover, 100% of the Vallnord – Pal Arinsal slopes are trodden daily by its workforce, that is, during the maintenance hours of the slopes, workers are available on the hills to offer better customer service. Finally, rescue workers open the tracks every morning ensuring safety.

Without a doubt it is one of the most developed ski areas in the Pyrenees with a very comprehensive offer both in services, hotels, shops, and businesses, as well as, modern facilities and well-groomed slopes. Further still, one has to mention the incredible Vallnord Bike Park, which is becoming more and more notorious during the summer period.

New “SnowPlus” App

In order to provide a more personal service with a quicker and more direct line to information, “SnowPlus” was born. The recently launched initiative of Vallnord – Pal Arinsal is designed for people to learn how to ski while also instilling, in a fun way, essential values such as friendship or respect for the environment.

In the app a file for each student’s profile is created. From there the parents (or adult user) would be able to see their photographs directly and easily, make reservations, and many other different things, all in a simpler way. In “Snowplus” the groups are small enough to guarantee personalized attention. It is the best way to help make the little ones enjoy the snow.
