The futuristic and panoramic restaurant at the heart of the Schilthorn has impressed the producers of the movie “James Bond : On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” at the end of the 60′. The alpine panorama (360°) makes you discover the mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau with an incredible view over 200 peaks and 40 glaciers extending from the Mount White to the Black Forest.

Mürren is a small village situated at 1650m of altitude, above the valley of Lauterbrunnental. From Lauterbrunnental, you can take a pendular cable car which will enable you to reach Stechelber, an aerial funicular which will then takes you to Mürren’s area.

Its idyllic valleys offer a total of 200km of varied pistes with wonderful points of view. The access is completely forbidden to cars and you will enjoy a mountain atmosphere really different. Starting from the village, you can use the Schilthorn to have access to 2970m of altitude.

The place is also known for the Infernal Descent, an intense race for passionate skiers in January with around 1800 participants. Some of them are so fast they can cross the 15,8km of pistes from Schilthorn to Lauterbrunnental in only 15 minutes !
