The ski slopes

The Corralco-Lonquimay ski resort has more than 500 skiable hectares. Here beginners and experts will find an ideal and splendid place to enjoy attractive winter sports. It has a maximum altitude of 2,400 metres and a drop of 850 metres for incredible descents. It also has 26 pistes spread over 28.5 km, including 13 easy, 6 intermediate and 7 difficult ones.

The Corralco-Lonquimay ski resort has a sector for freestyle and snowkite enthusiasts. You will discover well-maintained facilities and a brand new snowpark in its ski area, where top-level competitions are held. The ski school is staffed by ski and snowboard professionals, trained to give lessons to children and adults. A tour that is sure to leave no one unimpressed, as you can access the interior of a large volcanic crater that erupted relatively recently. During the trek you can see how volcanic eruptions have shaped the landscape in this area, forming large black lava slag pits covering more than a thousand hectares.

The Pehuenco Lagoon is another of the secrets of the Malalcahuello National Reserve. Located amidst abundant vegetation, this small lagoon reveals the effects of erosion and other subterranean phenomena typical of this volcanic area.

Además, proponen un interesante recorrido cruzando el Lago Galletué. On this peaceful kayak tour you can see incredible views of the volcanoes Llaima, Sierra Nevada and Batea Mahuida.
