The Isère-based ski resort, Auris en Oisans takes place between 1600 and 3330 meters above sea level. Connected to Alpe-d’Huez, it receives hundreds of visitors through the Grenoble-Isère airport. Created in 1970, the Auris en Oisans ski resort offers a breathtaking panorama of the Mont-de-Lans glacier, but also in the Les Deux Alpes resort. Known for its sunshine, the resort also offers access to the Ecrins National Park.

Nestled in an ideal location, facing the Deux Alpes ski area from Auris-en-Oisans, a majestic panorama opens up over the Écrins massif, La Meije and Mont-de-Lans-Glaciar.
Auris-en-Oisans spreads out onto a natural balcony facing south and provides a sunny winter holiday with plenty of snow in the midst of well-preserved nature. About 65% of the accomodation facilities are very close to the slopes. With your skis on, you can get to and from the slopes.

In Auris-en-Oisans, snow is guaranteed throughout the season, thanks to its location on the heights and the artificial snow technology with 31 snow machines.

Auris-en-Oisans is comprised of 11 picturesque villages, which are separated from each other by a few meters. They are between 700 meters and 1600 meters high. Each of these towns offers different lodgings, where you can enjoy the alpine environment and relax. When it comes to skiing, Auris-en-Oisans is a benchmark for the longest slopes in the world: one example is the Sarenne trail.
Starting from Pic Blanc, this extraordinary trail takes you to cover a distance of 16 kilometers in a height difference of 2230 meters to the Sarenne gorge in Auris-en-Oisans. A real attraction for ski professionals and adventurers. For cross-country skiing lovers, Auris-en-Oisans offers a 7 kilometer long cross-country ski trail: La Boucle de la Rochette.
Those who enjoy snow hiking have a network of trails, also suitable for snowshoe walks. At the bottom, you can find a sled slope.
Activities and apres-ski at Auris en Oisans
Just because the resort schedule comes to an end, doesn’t mean the fun is over, although you’ll may have to take your skis off. After the closure of the slopes, is possible to slide downhill on tires or donuts.
In Auris-en-Oisans you can easily ski downhill on a snow-covered slope on a mountain bike; there are four special trails for this. Ice hockey, snowball, Besenhockey and frisbee tournaments complement Auris-en-Oisans winter sports activities.
