SnowDome ski resort
The 170 metre main slope and the two Snow Academy areas (separate 30 metre and 25 metre teaching slopes) offer a wide variety of skiing and snowboarding lessons and sessions.
Top class tuition from professionally qualified instructors ensures that all ages and abilities are catered for from the complete novice to seasoned expert.
No special equipment or expensive clothing is required, just bring warm clothes, gloves and a sense of adventure!

Tobogganing down the 170-metre slope
Sled down the real snow on the 170-metre main slope alongside your family and friends. Great fun for all ages.
Ride around the bend, descend the long straight and slow down as you race with your family and friends. Afterwards, head back to the top of the track as the thrill continues. Bystanders can enjoy great views from The Aspen Food Company or from the balcony.

Visit the Tamworth Castle: Saxon heritage at a walking distance
Travel back in time through 900 years of fascinating history at Tamworth Castle. Stroll through the chambers and passageways of this remarkable building and get a real glimpse of how the Saxons, Normans, Tudors and Victorians lived and worked in the castle.
Over 15 fully furnished rooms to explore and fully signposted. There are plenty of information and exhibits in the castle that correspond to the time period of the room.
Unwind in the Day Room, which was used by the Ferrer family to meet before dinner, and step into the Tudor Dining Room, where the walls are decorated with large, brightly coloured tapestries.
This castle is just a 10-minute walk away from the SnowDome ski resort.

Create memories with your children at Europe’s only Thomas Land
Drayton Manor theme park offers a fun day out for the whole family. The park offers more than 100 rides and attractions.
Visitors can experience incredible sensations while riding Shockwave, Europe’s first stand-up roller coaster.
The zoo is home to more than 500 animals from all over the world. Proudly supporting various conservation projects, the zoo offers many immersive experiences.
Families can also extend the fun by staying at the Drayton Manor Hotel, a 4-star hotel at the entrance to the park, which offers exclusive Thomas & Friends themed rooms.

Drayton Manor Hotel ****
This modern hotel is set in 113 hectares of lakes and greenery, just 250 metres from the seasonal Drayton Manor theme park, which offers a range of thrilling roller coasters. It features 2 restaurants and rooms with flat-screen TVs.
A buffet-style meal with freshly grilled meat and seasonal vegetables is served in the Parklands Restaurant. The on-site brasserie provides burgers, steaks and fish. There are also 2 bars on site.
Air-conditioned rooms at Drayton Manor Hotel feature a private bathroom with toiletries. Some have children’s décor inspired by Thomas and his friends. A 30-minute free WiFi is provided.
It is an 8-minute-drive away from the SnowDome ski resort.

Holiday Inn Express Tamworth ***
Situated 4 minutes’ walk from the SnowDome indoor ski centre, this laid-back hotel is 9 minutes’ walk by foot from medieval Tamworth Castle and 3 miles from Drayton Manor theme park.
Rooms come with flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi and work desks, as well as tea and cosy tea and coffeemaking facilities. Enhanced rooms also have added views of the castle and/or lounge areas with sofa beds.
Breakfast buffet and parking are provided free of charge. Pets are allowed at a surcharge.

Nestled a 4-minute walk from Tamworth Castle, this simple hotel is a 9-minute walk from Tamworth Train Station and 17-minute walk from the SnowDome ski resort.
