Madonna Di campiglio is a famous italian ski resort that has been a reference in Italia and the rest of Europe during many years. VIPs and artists come in this high standing resort each year to enjoy the pistes of this wonderful skiable domain. Located between the Dolomites of Brenta and the Adamello, it offers many ski lifts perfect for ski and snowboard practice.
Created at the end of the 19th century, this ski resort was a former mountain hut for hikers. Its extraordinary natural environment in the mountain range of Brenta and the Pressanella and its large pine forests are important elements contributing to the success of Madonna di Campiglio which has become a touristic center , elegant and well-equipped.
A paradise for skiers with a good level : you will find nearly 40 pistes divided between blue and red runs with different levels of difficulty and different kinds of descents where you can enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Dolomites of Brenta.
There are two sectors : the Groste and Pradalago. On the Groste, you will find skiing areas for beginners and higher, the fantastic Urdus snowpark. You can also find extremely interesting pistes for experts which start from the top of Mount Spinale. In Pradalago, you will find a skiing area adapted for all levels.
The ski lifts are modern but the most important is the family and friendly atmosphere in the ski resort with numerous services for all : wide choice of bars and restaurants with good prices after a day of skiing. There are also some nightclubs and pubs where you can listen to nice music while having a drink.

Known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites”, Madonna di Campiglio is located at an altitude of 1,550 meters in western Trentino and is part of the prestigious Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena ski area, which links Campiglio with the resorts of Pinzolo, Folgarida, and Marilleva. With 150 km of interconnected slopes and dreamlike landscapes, it is one of the meccas of Italian skiing. Its perfect combination of elegance, quality snow, modernity, and refined atmosphere makes it a privileged destination for both families and expert skiers.
150 km of slopes in the heart of Trentino
The ski area offers 108 slopes served by 60 state-of-the-art lifts, with altitudes ranging from 850 to 2,500 meters. The slopes wind through fir forests, panoramic views of the Brenta Dolomites, and wide open spaces that allow you to enjoy skiing smoothly and without crowds.
Snow conditions are excellent throughout the season, reinforced by a snowmaking system that covers 95% of the ski area.
The Pradalago, Grosté, and Spinale areas offer the most spectacular views, while the Cinque Laghi sector is home to some of the most iconic descents.
Iconic slopes and a World Cup atmosphere
Madonna di Campiglio is synonymous with elite skiing. Every December, it hosts one of the most prestigious events in the Slalom World Cup, on the legendary Canalone Miramonti slope, which is lit up at night and known for its technical difficulty.

Après-ski here is enjoyed with class: live music at the Chalet Fiat, cocktails at the Bar Ober 1,500, or dinners at gourmet restaurants such as the Michelin-starred Stube Hermitage.

Gastronomy and alpine wellness
The local cuisine combines Trentino tradition with Tyrolean influences: polenta with mushrooms, smoked speck, valley cheeses, and mountain wines such as Teroldego Rotaliano.
High-altitude refuges, such as Stoppani al Grosté or Rifugio Viviani, offer local dishes against unforgettable landscapes. In addition, many hotels have panoramic spas, ideal for relaxing after an intense day in the snow.
Commitment to sustainability
Madonna di Campiglio has been recognized for its focus on sustainable tourism, with policies on electric mobility, efficient water management, and waste reduction.
It is part of the “Perla Alpina” program, which promotes car-free mobility and protection of the Dolomite ecosystem.
