Sustainable development of the Davos-Klosters ski resort

Until the end of the 19th century, the ski resort of Davos-Klosters was famous as one of the most prestigious tourist destinations in the world. It was synonymous with luxury, majestic nature, quality hotels, winter sports resorts, and so on.

Sustainability has long since become more than just the environment. The resort is increasingly equipped with state-of-the-art ski lifts. Cable car companies have a great responsibility for nature and the environment. Responsibility for nature and the landscape, but not only that. It is also about the people, the people who live and work in the region. The economic role of ropeways is very important in mountain regions. A company is sustainable when it acts in the long term so that the jobs and value creation stay in the valley, so that future generations can one day make a living here.

The ski lifts are therefore committed to sustainable development, not only ecologically, but also economically and socially.

In short, over time it shows that the ropeway industry is moving in a sustainable direction.
