Sustainable development of the Chill Factore ski resort

The popular Chill Factore resort, was forced to shut down when the outbreak of COVID-19 began for evident reasons. It was howevever,

being used to store plenty of food that would otherwise go to waste.

The food

was destined for emergency services, schools and nursing homes.

It was originally intended to go to several thousand restaurants and hotels, which were obliged to close.

The UK was said to be on the brink of running out of cold storage capacity and thanks to the resort’s capacity to store tonnes of food, it just ended up being a warning rather than a nightmare.

Touring around the city of Manchester

Why not visit the city itself once you made it all the way here?

Manchester is a well-known city, mainly for football of course, but it is a relatively small city, with 545,500 inhabitants.

The city is one of the main hubs of economic, cultural and sporting activity in the whole of the UK, if not the world. This is evident in its streets, which are always bustling with people moving up and down.

The good thing about it not being a big city is that you can cross it and do some sightseeing in no time at all. It is home to many well known museums and art galleries.
