Alta Badia

The ski resort of Alta Badia is situated in the region of South Tyrol in the Dolomite Mountains. It is one of the main stations of the domain ‘Dolomiti Superski’. Even if it is one of the oldest ski stations, it remains very attractive and the resort is crowded all winter.

The ski resort of Alta Badia covers a large area, the ski lifts are spread all around the mountains and the slopes link the six villages of Badia, Corvara, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano and La Valle. Skiers can go from one to another without taking their skis off!

What is special about the region is the air, it is very dry and as a consequence, the snow is even better, the domain Alta Badia is ideal for skiers and snowboarders who prefer powder snow! There is also a famous slope “la Gran Risa” where you can go down the giant slalom as fast as possible.

In winter, the weather of the ski resort of Alta Badia is ideal for competitions and the resort hosted the Man World Cup Standard Slalom. The domain is 130 kilometers wide and the Snowboarders can even experience a Snow park designed especially for them. It is fully-equipped and adapted for beginners as well as experts.

The Pass “Dolomiti SuperSki” provides new opportunities for regulars, they can ski through 3 domains, Alta Badia, Arraba Marmolada and Val Gardena which means even more slopes and additional sceneries to admire.

For the ones who prefer not to ski, they can go snowshoeing, horse riding, and ice skating or even sledding. In the evening, you can also experience the wellbeing center and the fitness center to relax after a long day of sport. Finally you can eat o go dancing in restaurants, pubs or even nightclubs with your friends and family.
