The ski slopes
The ski resort is part of the Monterosa Ski area, with 180 km of slopes divided between Alagna, Alagna-Wold and Alpe di Mera in Piedmont and those of the locality of Valdostana in Valle di Gressoney and Val d’Ayas, which can be accessed with a single ski pass. The Alagna ski resort has a maximum altitude of 3,260 metres and a difference in altitude of 2,048 metres. It also offers 132 km of ski slopes, of which 23 km of blue slopes, 94 km of red slopes and 15 km of black slopes. To facilitate access to the slopes, the resort has state-of-the-art ski lifts (3 cable cars, 5 gondolas, 9 chairlifts, 1 T-bar and 6 conveyor belts).

Sustainability at the Alagna Valsesia ski resort
Plants and sustainability: a possible balance? The project consists of linking the ski areas of Breuil-Cervinia, Valtournenche and Zermatt (Switzerland) with those of Gressoney and Alagna Valsesia, creating one of the largest ski areas in the world. The aim is to integrate the Cervino Ski Paradise and Monterosa Ski areas. The project will cost some 66 million euros, involve two nations (Italy and Switzerland) and five districts (Zermatt, Cervinia-Valtournenche, Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagna). The connection would make it possible to reach the Piccolo Cervino, Zermatt and vice versa both in winter and summer.
The impact would be considerable, both in terms of economic opportunities and environmental impact, bearing in mind that the Vallone delle Cime Bianche benefits from environmental protection at European level (Glacier Environments of the Monte Rosa Group), which provides for the exclusion of new infrastructures.

Skiing in Alpe di Siusi: the resort’s strong points
The Alpe di Siusi ski area offers approximately 63 kilometers of alpine slopes, connected by 21 modern ski lifts that guarantee smooth and comfortable travel.
The area is fully accessible from the town of Compatsch, and the slopes range from 1,227 to 2,220 meters. Part of the Dolomiti Superski area, the resort is connected to Val Gardena, forming a network of 181 kilometers of slopes and 79 ski lifts under a single ski pass. The entire ski area has snowmaking systems, ensuring good snow conditions even in irregular winters.
