Home Adelboden

Switzerland | Region: Bernese Oberland

The small town of Adelboden keeps all of its traditions, from its gentle people to its wooden houses. The ski domain formed by Adelboden and Lenk is not particularly known around the world, but it sure is one of the most charming places to be found in the Alps, thanks to its wonderful valley and slopes, suitable for all levels. In Adelboden you’ll find Engstligenalp (2.400 m), with its intermediate difficulty slopes, for free ride skiing only. On top of Frutigen there’s Elsigbach, with more than 20 km of slopes, and then there’s Leiterli (1960 m), with its 1000 meters of vertical drop. A total of 85 slopes make a 170 km ski domain, 90% of it being for begginer and intermediate levels. Adelboden has 42 skilifts. It’s definetely a suitable resort for begginer and intermediate skiers, as well as snowboarders.
