Grandvalira is a ski resort located in the Pyrenees within the Principality of Andorra. It is specially aimed to the practice of alpine skiing. It occupies a wide area that goes from the center of the country and extends to the east until reaching the border with France.
In 1956 the businessman and ski champion Francesc Viladomat installed the first ski lift on top of Coll Blanc in Pas de la Casa. It was powered by a truck engine and could transport 450 skiers every hour.
From that moment on, the resort grew at an average of one new ski lift per year. To the optimal snow conditions of Grandvalira-Pas de la Casa are added the wide slopes and a variety of trails. Allowing you to fully enjoy snow sports.

The night is more dynamic than anywhere else: pubs and mass parties justify this as one of the most attractive sectors for young people. On the other hand, Grau Roig is the only sector that does not have residential facilities. It stands out for the landscapes; the most spectacular in Andorra, which makes it one of the few sectors of the domain with untreated snow.

With 900 meters long, 200 meters drop, and a braking zone with 280 meters length, its the perfect set up to achieve vertigo-rush speeds in a few seconds.
