Located on Rhône’s river left side a few minutes away from plains, the charming village of Vercorin takes advantage of exceptional meteorologic conditions thanks to the region’s microclimate.

Vercorin offers you a place to relax and return to your roots thanks to its old and typical village, its undamaged environment and its leisure activities.

Made up of old chalets, the village will take you to a typical journey in the Val. In winter, enjoy a nice skiable domain, many routes for snowshoeing, a natural ice-skating rink, a piste for cross-country skiing and a crazy descent for sledges from Le-Crêt-Du-Midi. Whether you’re an adult or a child, a beginner or an expert, you will be seduced by Vercorin’s ski resort. It offers 35km of demarcated runs (220km if you have the ski pass for the whole domain of Val d’Anniviers and its 5 skiing areas) and a snowpark (3 big air, 1 hip, 2 slides and 1 box).

The snow garden of Creux du Lavioz is the perfect place to discover skiing or give a try to a new winter sport ! The garden is equipped with two ski tows adapted for beginners, a natural ice rink and a snowtubbing piste (rubber ring). You can also use a part of the piste to try sledging or bobsleighing.

Le Lavioz offers a refreshment area and a kindergarten. If you don’t like alpine skiing pistes, Vercorin offers : 15km of cross-country skiing pistes (to Grimentz) / 53km of demarcated snowshoeing routes / 15km of winter hikes (Vercorin-Ziettes return trip ; Sigeroulaz-Vercorin) / 3 sledging pistes / 1 snowtubbing piste and a natural ice-skating rink at Lavioz Sports Centre / the visit of Vercorin’s village with a guide to learn more about its history and its traditions.
