The ski resort Sierra de Béjar-La Covatilla is a young resort (2001) which is in full development. Its slopes, gently uneven and very wide, are ideal for families. Its North-North-East orientation and its altitude (from 1990 to 2369 m) make it possible to maintain magnificent conditions throughout the season, even during the months of March and April.
Thanks to these specific factors offered by its orientation and climatic conditions, the snow is maintained in excellent quality for skiing throughout the season. Another geographical factor to take into account: Sierra de Béjar-La Covatilla is located 2 hours from Madrid by road, and almost 100 kilometers from Portugal.
