
Located in the center of Mont Blanc’s uplands, Megève’s skiing area has a quality snow cover and an exceptionnal setting to enjoy 445 km of ski trails of Evasion Mont Blanc’s skiing area. 223 ski trails (whose 35 black ski trails) are accessible thanks to 105 ski lifts.
Skiers enjoy many valleys which give a sense of trip at the heart of a respected mountain. You can contemplate historical farms, taste local produces in one of many Megève’s restaurants by skiing in Megève. You will be able to enjoy numerous views of Mont Blanc accross fir trees’ peaks.
From the center a cable car gives direct access to Rochebrune or Mont d´Arbois (via cable car). To access Le Jaillet you have to use the ski bus. You have to be careful with the selection of accommodation because some hotels are neither in the center nor at the foot of the slopes.
In many ways it looks more like a Swiss or Austrian station than a French one and, perhaps for this reason, it is frequented by the Jet Set. Megève is a winter sports resort with a huge ski area, as the areas of Megeve, St. Gervais, St. Nicolas and Combloux are linked with beautiful paths between pine forests forming the Mont Blanc Evasion area with ski pass ” Skipass Mont Blanc “that allows you to ski on 700 km of slopes in the Mont Blanc region such as Chamonix and Argentiere.
Skiing in Megève is an intimate and unique experience which starts at the heart of the village to finish on summits. The skiing area is particularly adapted for family skiing and your children will not forget to remind you that there are snowparks for practising freestyle skiing. Freeride enthusiasts will enjoy the different virgin areas. 3 uplands are directly accessible from village : Mont d’Arbois/Princesse, Rochebrune/Cote 2000 and Jaillet.
