La Plagne is a ski resort in the French Alps, in the Savoie department, which has 225 km of slopes and 100 km² of skiable area, reaching a maximum altitude of 3250 meters.

La Plagne ski resort is part of Paradiski, the world’s second largest ski area. The huge Paradiski ski area is made up of 425km of interconnected runs. The ski resorts of La Plagne and Les Arcs have been connected since 2003 by the Vanoise-Express, the largest cable car in the world. This 200-seat cable car links the two giants via Peisey-Vallandry. The three resorts are also part of the Compagnie des Alpes!

Facing Mont Blanc, on the forest floor, you will be seduced by the authenticity of the renovated old village of Montchavin and charmed by the architecture of Les Coches (with its famous slate roofs) where stone and wood reign supreme.

70% of La Plagne’s ski area is located above 2000m, which guarantees excellent natural snow cover throughout the winter season. The artificial snow network ensures reliable snow cover and very good skiing conditions throughout the winter.
Here the “Family Plus Mountain” label takes on its full meaning. A car-free resort, La Plagne offers learning areas for beginners, entertainment and approved facilities for children from a very young age.

The ski resort of La Plagne is certified QSE (quality, safety, environment) and is thus committed to protecting the environment. Meadows are regenerated, forests reforested and rivers protected. In addition, ski lifts that are no longer in use are being dismantled. 93 pylons have been removed.
A new biomass boiler, designed to supply the buildings of La Plagne Centre, avoids 4000 tons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
PEDESTRIAN-ONLY VILLAGES AND VILLAGE CENTRES
The resort has no railway line. Free shuttle buses run between Aime la Plagne, Belle Plagne, Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Centre and Plagne Villages – Soleil. These free shuttles run from 8am to midnight every day.
For people who work in the ski lifts, these shuttles are free all year round for a journey between their work and their home.

Try the bob raft! Accessible from 1.30m, it is the perfect machine for families. Self-guided and self-braking, it can accommodate four people for an incredible shared experience.
The machine reaches 80 km/h at the height of the descent. Ideal as an “approach experience”, the Bob Raft is perfect for first-timers. But let’s be clear, the La Plagne bobsleigh run has no half measures, so you’ll take the same route as the professionals! Price: 48 € per person.

Play it like Tarzan! Explore the alpine canopy thanks to the adventure courses in La Plagne. The accrobranche allows you to get a bit of height, but above all to have fun in an ecosystem that is usually not very accessible.
Above the Isère or the Ours valley, facing the Vanoise glaciers or in the Tarentaise valley, the courses are adapted to everyone’s level and the workshops are each more fun than the last. No need to be jealous, children from 8 years old have their own accrobranche.
