La Sportiva Kilo Tech Hub is a gathering for ski mountaineering enthusiasts. A traveling event that includes product testing, outings, and meetings with athletes and experts, it is ready to welcome all those who see ski touring as an authentic way to experience the mountains.

La Sportiva, a leading manufacturer of technical footwear and clothing for mountain sports based in Val di Fiemme, has confirmed for the second consecutive year the launch of La Sportiva Kilo Tech Hub, a series of traveling events open to the public designed to strengthen the bond between the brand and outdoor enthusiasts. The initiative offers the opportunity to test the new ski mountaineering boots in the field and interact with mountain guides, athletes, and experts in a unique context of training and fun.

With Kilo Tech Hub, La Sportiva offers a five-stage tour, scheduled from January 19 to March 15 in some of the main Alpine locations. Testing the new Kilo XTR and Sender models is at the heart of the format and provides an opportunity for direct interaction with athletes and experts during outdoor excursions organized with local mountain guides, allowing participants to test the boots in real conditions and receive specific technical advice.

The experience is rounded off with evenings dedicated to exploring technical aspects and opportunities to chat with the athletes. Among the names expected to attend, Nadir Maguet will be present at the stages in Cortina and Pozza di Fassa, and Anna Torretta will be a guest in Courmayeur. All Kilo Tech Hub activities are free and open to the public, with online reservations available through their website.

The stars of the 2026 edition of La Sportiva Kilo Tech Hub are two new ski mountaineering boots: Kilo XTR and Sender. Two models designed to respond to different practices and profiles within ski touring, but united by the same philosophy: to bring La Sportiva’s technical innovations in terms of lightness, efficiency, and reliability to the real world. Throughout the various stages of the Kilo Tech Hub, participants can test both boots in real conditions of use, understand their differences, and receive direct advice from athletes and experts, in a context that puts the equipment at the service of the mountain experience.

La Sportiva KILO XTR

Kilo XTR is a revolutionary boot that combines lightness and uncompromising performance between ascent and descent, bringing together efficiency, comfort, and fun in just 1200 grams. The 68-degree cuff excursion and Tilt-Lock Lite mechanism ensure natural movement and quick transitions between Walk and Ski modes.

The Grilamid® Bio Based LF Carbon and fiberglass construction ensures support and precision even on the most technical sections, while the FORCE Closure System™ and FORCE FLEX System™ offer a comfortable fit and optimal power transfer. The FriXion Wave Alpine XTR outsole guarantees grip, stability, and shock absorption on any terrain.

La Sportiva SENDER

Sender redefines the boundary between touring and freetouring, combining downhill support and uphill fluidity. The Grilamid® Bio Based LF Carbon shank and Pebax® Rnew shell ensure robustness, responsiveness, and flexibility even at low temperatures, while the 64° excursion ensures natural movements and less fatigue when climbing.

The four ergonomic buckles and FORCE Closure System™ offer a precise fit, long-lasting comfort, and optimal power transmission. The FORCE Wrap System™ tongue wraps around the foot, ensuring safety and control on the descent. The FriXion® Purple sole guarantees grip, stability, and compatibility with touring and alpine ski bindings, while the S4 Inserts™ facilitate the transition between ascent and descent.
