Lovers of winter sports, fun and new challenges, mark the date 29 March 2025 in your diary! The resort of Menuires invites you to the 3rd edition of ‘Completely at La Masse’, a unique slalom course full of obstacles. Whether you’re in fancy dress or not, alone or in a team, this 5 km course promises a day full of thrills and good humour.
A festive and accessible event
‘Completely at La Masse’ is not a race like any other. Designed to be accessible to all, this event was initiated by Guillaume Bellin, director of the Club des Sports des Menuires, with a clear idea: ‘To bring together and offer a different format, non-elitist and not only reserved for licence holders’. Since its launch in 2022, the competition has won over a varied audience, from young skiers to the more experienced, with an atmosphere that is always at its peak.
A look back at previous editions of ‘Completely at La Masse’
The 2024 edition brought together more than 200 participants of all ages and abilities in a festive and warm atmosphere. The skiers, some dressed up in eccentric costumes, set off on a course full of obstacles where strategy and humour were just as important as technique. The fan zone welcomed many enthusiastic spectators who came to cheer on the participants.
The event has quickly become a must in the resort, thanks to its unique format that combines adrenaline and conviviality. For the 2025 edition, the organisers promise even more surprises and difficulties on the course!
New for 2025: longer, crazier, more fun!
After two successful editions, the event is back with new surprises. The course, which this year is 5 km long, will be even more challenging with a variety of obstacles: giant slalom, forest of poles, bumps, boardercross, snake run and biathlon stand. And to spice up the race even more, a new fan zone will be set up at the foot of La Masse to cheer on the participants.
A sporting and festive programme
- 9.45am: Solo race – The most demanding course, reserved for experienced skiers. An intense challenge that will put your thighs to the test!
- 11.45am: Relay race in teams of 3 – A friendly and strategy-filled event, where you’ll need to combine cooperation and speed to cross the finish line first.
- From 12 noon: Festive afternoon on the Croisette – DJ set, best fancy dress competition, entertainment stands, ski tests and, of course, the prize-giving at 4pm. There are lots of prizes to be won: holidays in Les Menuires, skis, snowboards, cheese… and even your weight in local beer!
