The Saint-Lary ski resort will open this year on November 30 and on December 1. After these dates, you can find it open to the public from December 6 to April 13, 2020 on an ongoing basis.

If you are thinking of going on a trip to the snow with your family, you can enjoy a family ski pass where adults will pay the same price as children. This offer will be applied only according to certain conditions:

Saint-Lary has a division of 3 different zones. Each of these areas are prepared for different levels of skiing. So, depending on your level it is advisable to go to one area or another. The access to these 3 areas is very simple thanks to the chair lifts and ski lifts that you can find in the more than 100 kilometers of the ski slopes. Next, we will explain which of these zones is the ideal for you according to what you are looking for:

  • Pla d’Adet

The first zones of the Saint-Lary station is Pla d’Adet. This area is ideal to start in the world of the ski, since it has special areas where you can start to learn the basics. If you are traveling with the little ones, this area is also ideal for them as it has a sled track and recreational spaces designed for children.

In this first area of ​​Saint-Lary, besides of ideal slopes to start skiing, you will find shops and activities at the foot of the track. It is possible to access this area of ​​the station through the cable car, the chair lift or using the road.

  • Espiaube

In this sector you will find a great variety of tracks, from the serene ones where we will be able to ski calmly and enjoying the wonderful views that the French Pyrenees provide, to those that will make us enjoy a more sporting experience and only suitable for the most expert.

It is in this sector where we can access to the Vallon du Portet section using the Portet cable car and chairlifts.

  • Vallon du Portet

If snowboarding is your passion, we recommend you to go to this section. In Vallon du Portet you will find one of the best snowparks in the French Pyrenees.

However, if you want to get lost in its mountains, this area is also ideal for you. You can go cross-country skiing, go snowshoeing and access the lake of L’Oule using the ski lift. If you are a hiking enthusiast, you will love Vallon du Portet.
