Each winter season is different and unique. This winter season 2018-2019 started quite badly, with very little precipitation at the beginning of the season. But winter hadn’t said its last word and  heavy snow arrived at the end of January, bringing great news to all mountain massifs.

Now, the French and Spanish ski resorts enjoy very good snow conditions, and spring skiing should be the highlight of this season, allowing the skiing until 2:00 p.m. with abundant and good quality snow, which, accompanied by the anticyclonic days that await us, predicts some epic ski days for this spring.

I Love Ski has prepared a summary of the current snow depth in some French and Spanish ski resorts, classified by mountainous areas. You will find classified, the resorts of the Spanish and French Pyrenees as well as those of the French Alps with their snow depths:

Snow report from March 22, 2019:

The snow depth is generous in the Alps, exceeding two meters in the ski resorts of Val Cenis and St Sorlin d’Arves, located in the Valley of Maurienne (Northern Alps, France).
