“It’s Spring in Val Cenis” Festival
Regular skier of the resort of Val Cenis, Laurent Géra wanted to go further and create a multidisciplinary festival where he invites his friends to come and perform, with music, theater, cinema…
The Festival will take place in the 400-seat Laurent Géra Auditorium, and watch out, because the seats are booked very quickly. Famous Paris Première channel’s program “La revue de presse” will be live from Val Cenis with its offbeat and incisive tone. Also on the poster artists such as singer Carla Bruni or François Morel. The festival will feature as well a cabaret show, Folies. An original way of bringing culture to the mountain valleys.
“The resort is put on the stage, reminding us that a resort is not just for skiing,”
says Laurent Sévenier, from the Tourist Office.
“During this period, we have a different kind of clients, the real fans who come because it’s the festival, for its quality program.”
Special offers for the 5 days of Festival have even been created by the resort in order to meet the specific needs of these visitors, who are passionate and faithful.
Highlight Festival Offer (5 days).

1 pass – 6 days – 350 kilometers (217 miles) of slopes
In order to really enjoy the resort of Val Cenis, the resort offers a 6-day pass that gives you access to the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise, which includes 6 resorts, 350 kilometers (217 miles) of alpine skiing, and 200 km (124 mi) of Nordic skiing.
” What’s interesting about this pass is that you have access to 6 resorts, all included in one pass. You can test the cross-country skiing in Bessans, go up to a 3000m (9843 ft) altitude in Bonneval sur Arc and discover the resorts of La Norma, Aussois or Valfréjus.
This is a big novelty this season: last year, the possibility of skiing on other resorts involved paying an extra. This year, the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise is offered with your pass, as well as access to the buses that connect the resorts ” explains Laurent Sévenier. ” The resorts complete each other, and each of them offers a different kind of ski “.
Buses run continuously around Haute Maurienne so that everyone can enjoy this pass. The funding for this mobility system has been taken care of by the resorts and the community of communes.
