Itra group, official dealership of Mercedes-Benz and Smart, has hold this season a championship of ski for youngsters in order to promote the competition of this white sport at an early age.
It is a alpine skiing circuit on the Central Mountains resulting very interesting this winter for its aim of boosting the participation of the youngsters on the sports contests.
It is always from a angle aimed to encourage to practice this sport in a competition atmosphere. Youngsters from the Madrid Community are the ones who participate on this ski competitions.
With several appointments in Madrid Snow Zone, La Pinilla, Valdesquí y Navacerrada, the participants of the pre-juvenile categories, U10 y U12 will have the opportunity to face up on the slopes but also to live some festive moments together.
Through this concept of championship, the ITRA SKI CUP responds also to the will of the Spanish Winter Sports Federation (RFEDI) to organize races pre-juveniles and juveniles with a festive touch to improve the social harmony of this future racers.
The “Paddock” idea is totally in accordance with that vision: organized on the surrounding villages of the ski resort, the Paddock offers the possibility to all the competitiors and their families of activities, games, contest, without forgeting the traditional awards ceremony with gifts to all the participants.
With this new concept, the event is presented extremely attractive for the young talents and its families.
This weekend, took place the 2ª Trial of the season on the ski domain of Puerto Navacerrada, and the Fun Zone was hold in the sports centre of the village of Navacerrada.
Thanks to the heavy and recent snowfalls, this race was organized on the Escaparate slope, where the young competitors and their families enjoyed a first quality snow.
