With only 21 years, Marie Bochet is an example of courage and will. Affected by an injury in her left arm, this does not represent a problem for Marie and her great eagerness to ski. After a lot of perseverance, Marie has won a lot of medals in the different disciplines of ski. Nowadays, Marie Bochet is considered one of the best skiers in the discipline of adapted sports in the world.

Her palmars are impressive, World Cup, France Championship,Paralympic games… Marie builds won careers in every corner of the world ! The following are some of her victories:

– Paralympic games of Sochi in 2014: 4 gold medals (slide down, Super-G,Giant Slalom and Super combined)

– World Championship (adapted sport): 2 gold medals (Giant Slalom and per teams) and 2 silver medals(slide down and Super-G) in 2011, in  Sestrières. In addition, 5 gold medals in the 5 different individual disciplines in 2013 , in The Molina (Spain) 2015, in Panorama (Canada)

– 3 Crystal Balloons in 2011,2012,1014

Keeping in mind her palmars, that adds on every year. The career of this skier has a lot of future ahead. Marie started the ski in the station of Arèches Beaufort. Among the prizes won included the famous French distinction of ” Chevalier de la Légion d’ Honneur ” or also the trophy ” Laureus in Laureus World Sports Awards” in the category of adapted sports

In the Laureus World Sports Awards, that are condecorations that honor the best of sports of the year. Marie Bochet was nominated in the category Laureus World Sports person of the Year with a Disability Awards for her prowess in 2015. In fact last year the skier won the 5 individual test of the world championship.
