High-altitude gastronomy is been developed on the last few years. Nowadays, many restaurants have their own culinary stars on mountain restaurants.

This thursday 11th of 2016, Cerler ski resort, of the group Aramón, organises another edition of the Snowcooking event.

It is a gastronomic encounter for the enthusiasts of the mountains and also foodies. It appears as the result of the collaboration between Aramón Cerler ski resort and the Guayente Catering School.
The participants will be able to enjoy a unique experience when the closing time of the slopes comes. They’ll make use of the last chairlifts trips to reach the pizzeria Del Bosque at the same time they enjoy the last ray of sun over Benasque. The panoramic views of the sunset will be accompanied by an aperitif with champagne and homemade cake.
After the aperitif, the diners will descend skiing until Cota restaurant, where they’ll enjoy a high quality dinner organised by Guayente Catering School, a renowned training centre in Benasque. This are some of the delicacies of the menu: Prawns with yucca, Oxtail with mushrooms, Scalloped or Foie grass over leeks…This year for the first time, the feast will be entertained with live music.
After the dinner, another decent is planned: this time with torch lighting until reaching Cerler (1500m). This event has limited seating capacity: 40 seats. If you want to sign up, you need to send a mail to avega@cerler.com, including the number of persons and their names. The prize of this amazing feast is 92 euros/person.
