It is in the heart of the mountains of the Jura that the Haut Doubs begins. Through sumptuous, colourful and diversified landscapes, we discover the villages and surroundings of Métabief, Malbuisson and Les Fourgs that promise many things in winter and summer. You will discover the typical mountains of the Jura, with large and sumptuous fir forests, combs and pastures that are occupied by cows during the summer. Launched in 1953 in the town of Métabief by Maurice Lagier, Roger Maire and Xavier Authier, the Métabief’s ski resort rapidly gained importance during the 60s, 70s, and 80s, speaking about infrastructure as well as fame. More recently, the year 2005 has marked the beginning of a renewal with the launching of the detachable chairlift of Morond. The Métabief’s area is divided into three sectors: - the Métabief’s sector: it has the longest slopes in the ski resort. Many different slopes, itineraries, and atmospheres for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Green, blue, red or black, the slopes enable you to enjoy all the practices. For experienced skiers, let's run through the famous slope called “La Renversée”: direct and quick guaranteed link from the summit until the heart of the resort. With the Snowpark, let’s discover freestyle and let’s try the craziest figures in complete safety. - the Super Longevilles’ sector: this west-facing mountainside is woodier. With friends or family, let’s enjoy the immense white spaces, the evasion for the sight, skiing in the middle of firs, on groomed slopes, or on the immaculate combs. This sector is ideal for the skiers that look for immersion in nature and want to take advantage of a generous sun all the afternoon long. - Piquemiette’s sector: this Swiss mountainside proposes a more sportive ski. Nestled down the cliffs of the Mont d’Or, this area offers steep slopes and an abundant snow, which is guaranteed by its exposure to East. This wild environment is ideal to experience mogul slopes, tight turns, and enjoy crazy skiing.

Esta es una estación muy familiar y agradable cerca de las ciudades de Besançon y Pontarlier. El paisaje es precioso, disfrutando de las Montañas del Jura en la frontera franco-suiza
