The Arcs’ skiing area is made up of more than 200 km spread accross 106 ski resorts principally blue and red. It includes 4 sectors baptism by their altitude : Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. Four areas are easily accessible by the road and Arc 1500 is linked at Bourg Saint Maurice by a funicular. 15% of the skiing area is equipped by cultured snow, it’s divided in 2 slopes : on the one hand Arc 1600 but also Arc 1800 then on the other hand Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. The sectors of Arcs, Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne are linked by Vanoise Express’ cable car and constitute Paradiski’s skiing area with more than 425 km of adapted ski trails for every level. Pic of Aiguille rouge (3226m) is located above Arcs 2000’s skiing area and is accessible by cable car. It represents the roof of this skiing area and offers spectacular views on alpine mountains. Arcs’ skiing area is very complete with ski trails for every taste and level. 3 of them are ski-runs of slalom where there are 3 installations dedicated to new trends of Freestyle with many events throughout the season as well as many snowpark and boarder cross which will make thrill-seekers happy. Arcs’ skiing area includes 8 ski hills “nature” (natural, no-modified, secured ski hills) among which the ski trail the most difficult of the ski resort and which are considered as off-piste ski trails that skiers have to do with an extreme caution.
