Champagny en Vanoise, it’s the charm of an authentical village of Savoie with a dynamic name, this convivial village live all year on the sunny south versant of La Plagne-Paradiski’s skiing area. Two different sites, two different altitude and two different ambiances : Champagny-Village lies at 1250m it has traditinal architecture and a XVII century baroque church at is center. Five kilometres higher up at 1450m is the hidden treasure of the Vallon de Champagny le Haut, a classified site of natural beauty on the doorstep of the Vanoise national Park, which offers a whole range of activities in a stunning environment. The Vallon de Champagny le haut is characterized by its traditional hamlets, registered on the architectural heritage. It is located in a splendid natural framework, at the foot of famous summits like La Grande Motte and La Grande Casse, and offers many hiking trails, and also a discovery trail that is accessible to persons with reduced mobility. It is only after many debates and polemics that the Parc National de la Vanoise was built. This was the first french national park (long after Italy that had built the Grand Paradis Park as soon as 1922). The commune of Champagny alone brings 5000 hectares (half of its territory), which represents 10% of the total area of the park. The park protects Nature, Flora and landscapes. It also has an important educational and touristic purpose by attracting many hikers. We can reach it via the valley of Champagny Le Haut. Why should you spend a stay at Vanoise ? Because you are welcomed in La Plagne’s village and ski resort ideally situated at the heart of Savoie. Spend a stay in Vanoise, it consists of enjoying of magnificient panoramas, walking in a preserved small valley, discovering typical mountain villages and clearing your mind in Vanoise’s National Park by doing a ramble or practising skiing in protected setting. With the wealth of the architectural, religious and natural heritage, with the omnipresence of agriculture, and the traditions' vivacity, you can never remain unmoved by the particular character of the Champagny's environment that will accompany you throughout your stay. All year round , a stay in Vanoise fills the families by offering many activities : skiing, rambles by snowshoe, walks, ...

Station familiale très pratique pour la famille, surtout pour la manipulation du matériel, casier à ski au pied des cabines. Commerçants sympathiques. Nous y reviendrons.
