33Km. Distance to Airport

Apex Mountain Resort is a Canadian ski resort famous for the quality of its snow all winter long, the dry air combined with heavy snow fall is ideal for an amazingly light powder snow. It is situated near Penticton BC in the Okanagan Valley in the South of British Columbia, Canada. From Vancouver, take the #3A highway to Penticton, once there you are only 30 minutes away from the station. In fact, the nearest airport of Penticton is only 33 kilometers far! The resort comprises 2 main sides, the front one, with the village at the bottom is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. This side comprises the easier and the harder slopes and after a good day of ski, don’t hesitate to go to the café, take a hot chocolate on the terrace and relax in the outdoor hot tubs! The other side of the mountain is called the Wild Side with slopes designed for experienced skiers. You can take the Westbank Chairliftand reach the summit and then go down the challenging tracks. Do not miss the Grandmother’s Trail which links the Wild Side to the village and the lifts, otherwise you will have to walk all the way to the station! As for snow conditions, the station is ideal for fresh powder snow, whether you prefer to take the groomed slopes or challenge yourself on off-piste tracks, be sure the quality of the snow is very high in average. The average temperature is negative in winter and combined with heavy snowfalls, this resort is a paradise for powder snow! If you are a Freestyle addict you are fortunate to have the choice between 3 Terrain Park, an absolutely unique opportunity! Challenge yourself on the Night Park, the Prospector Park or the Claim Jumper Park. And if you are lucky enough to be at the station at Christmas, you will perhaps be allowed to go down the mountain during the night with special features for the occasion! Do you want to compete with your friends and family? Try the ski and snowboard cross and go as fast as possible to win the race! It is located at the right of the T-bar above Spruce Hollow on the Piste Map. Non-skiers can also enjoy the tube park, the 1km long ice skating loop and the ice skating rink opened all week long. You can also discover the Canadian forest with Snowshoeing, and step in the wildlife tracks of British Columbia.
